You are invited to join us at Columbia Fish & Game for our Black Powder Open House on February 23rd, 2025, from 10AM to 4PM. Admission is $1.

At the event we will have:

  • Black powder demonstrations, displays, and vendors
  • Reenactment demonstrations
  • Door prizes
  • Food

Donations at the event are appreciated.

There will also be a special Black Powder Shoot with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Cost to participate is $1 per target, shooting for best score, submitting your best score. 

Rules & Regulations for participating in the shoot are as follows:

  1. No smoking
  2. Patched round ball only
  3. Open sights only
  4. Prime only on the firing line
  5. The range officer has final authority in all matters
  6. Misfires must be cleared in a designated area after 3 attempts to fire the firearm
  7. A whistle indicates to cease all firing on the range
  8. No double balling is allowed. This will result in a disqualification of your score.

End of Winter Woods Walk & Black Powder Shoot, on Sunday, April 6th, 2025. Open to all black powder shooters, beginner or expert. Registration (required) starts at 11:30am and the shoot starts at 12:00pm.

The cost is $8.

50/50 shoot with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place.

Join us for an afternoon of primitive shooting in a casual atmosphere. Primitive dress is encouraged but not required. Shooting events will include a variety of targets that should challenge the individual as well as entertain, from 30 to 70 yards in distance in a natural woodland setting.

Rules and Regulations
