NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Courses are available at our club on a regular basis. This course is a one day, 8-hour course. The cost is $105. This course is designed for every level shooter. If you’ve never touched a firearm or you shoot regularly, you will benefit from this course.

The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. During this traditional, instructor-led course you will receive direct instruction from our team of NRA-certified instructors from beginning to end. During the course, a team of NRA Certified Instructors will teach comprehension and application of gun safety rules, range protocol, proper handling, loading and unloading procedures, application of pistol shooting fundamentals, stable shooting positions, live fire, and ending with a final shooting qualification.

The classroom module for this course will be held in the clubhouse, while the live fire module will be held on the pistol range (which will be closed during the class). You may bring your own pistol (of any pistol caliber) and ammunition for this class.
